Living in Time-Finding Meaning in Fruitful and Boring Days

Hey All, Namaste & Greetings! Have you ever had one of those days where everything just seems to go your way? You wake up feeling energized and motivated, you breeze through your to-do list, and you end the day feeling accomplished and fulfilled. These are the days that we call "fruitful." On the other hand, we all know what it's like to have a day where nothing seems to go right. You wake up feeling tired and unmotivated, you struggle to focus on your tasks, and you end the day feeling frustrated and unfulfilled. These are the days that we call "boring." But what if I told you that the quality of your time and your happiness measures may differ based on person to person and that both "fruitful" and "boring" days have something in common? They both have the same amount of time. Time is a funny thing. It's something that we can never get back once it's gone, and yet we often take it for granted. We live in a world where time is al...

The Beauty of Simplicity-Finding Joy in Life's Little Pleasures

As a member of an orthodox family, I appreciate the extra personal time I get during my menstrual cycle. I view this break time from household chores as an opportunity to unwind and enjoy some peaceful moments to myself. During this recent menstrual break time, I happened to watch the movie "Mithunam" ( this is the 7th time that I have watched it... if I am right).  Photography copyrights are credited to the original author. Mithunam" is a timeless Telugu film that portrays a beautiful story of a simple couple's life in a rural setting. The movie, directed by Sri Tanikella Bharani garu, teaches us valuable life lessons through the characters of Appa Rao (Sri late .S. P. Balasubrahmanyam garu) and Buchi Lakshmi (Lakshmi garu). The movie may be decades old, but its lessons on life and relationships are still relevant today, especially in our modern fast-paced world. The fast-paced world we live in today often leaves little time for relationships and love. We are const...

Don't Postpone Love: Why Prioritizing People Over Material Things is Key to Living a Fulfilling Life

Hey all, Namasthe &Greetings! Credits: original photographer  In today's world, we are all so busy chasing after material things that we often forget about the people in our lives who matter the most. We get so caught up in our daily routine of working, earning money, and acquiring possessions that we tend to ignore the people who make our lives worthwhile. We may assume that we have all the time in the world to spend with them, but the truth is that life is unpredictable, and we never know when our loved ones might not be with us anymore. When we have some free time, we may plan to spend it with our loved ones, but sometimes, things don't always work out the way we want them to. They might be busy with their own lives, or they might have already made plans with someone else. It's during these moments that we realize the importance of never postponing to express our emotions. We should tell the people we love how much we care about them, how much they mean to us, and ho...

Digital Declutter-Self Growth

Photograph Credit goes to the original copywriter   Hey All, Namasthe & Greetings! In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the endless stream of emails, social media notifications, and other digital distractions that compete for our attention. As a mother, it can be challenging to balance the demands of technology with the responsibilities of raising children and nurturing self-growth.   That's why it's important to take a step back and embark on a digital declutter. A digital declutter involves taking a break from technology and assessing how it's impacting your life. Here are some tips on how to get started:   "Technology is a useful servant but a dangerous master." - Christian Lous Lange   Set boundaries: Establish specific times during the day when you will engage with technology, and use the rest of the time to focus on your personal growth and motherhood. "Put down your phone and be present in the moment....

Count blessings...Feel blessed

I want this...I don't have it...she is having more money that me? His job is great than me???????????? Hey all. Namasthe!  Let me share with you on why did I say the above statements.. In today's fast-paced and materialistic world, it's easy to get caught up in the cycle of constantly wanting more. We often compare ourselves to others and focus on what we don't have, rather than being grateful for the many blessings in our lives. However, taking a step back and appreciating what we do have can have a profound impact on our happiness and overall well-being. One of the best ways to cultivate a sense of gratitude is to count our blessings. This means taking the time to reflect on all the good things in our lives and expressing appreciation for them. This can be as simple as jotting down a few things we're thankful for each day or engaging in a daily gratitude practice. It's also important to remember that there are many people in the world who are less fortunate t...

Mindfulness: what Lessons Elders can learn from kids!

Hey all...Namasthe!  Children are often viewed as dependent beings who need guidance from adults, but what we fail to recognize is that they have the power to teach us valuable lessons too. As parents, we often find ourselves consumed by the stresses of daily life, dwelling on past mistakes, and worrying about the future. But my six-year-old son Sri Advaitha Simha Mudrakartha, recently taught me how to be present in the moment, enjoy the present, and never live in the past or future. One evening, as we were taking a walk in the park, my son grabbed my hand and pulled me towards a patch of daisies growing beside the path. He was excitedly pointing out how pretty they were, and how they seemed to be dancing in the wind. I was caught off guard by his enthusiasm, but it was contagious. We stopped and took a closer look, and I realized how often I had walked past these flowers without giving them a second glance. As we continued our walk, my son stopped frequently to admire the small th...

Nature of People & Pleasing them :

Namasthe all, Greetings! We have different sets of people around us. Some are Introverts and some Extroverts. Some are mixed.  Indeed, People are complex, and their behavior is influenced by a variety of factors, including their upbringing, life experiences, mental health, and social environment. It is possible for someone to behave in ways that are hurtful or harmful to others, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they are inherently "bad." Sometimes people behave in hurtful ways because they are struggling with their own personal issues or past traumas, and they may not have the skills or resources to cope in healthier ways. In other cases, people may be acting out of self-interest or a desire for power or control. It's important to remember that people are capable of change, and it's possible for someone who has behaved badly in the past to learn and grow from their experiences. However, it's also important to set boundaries and protect yourself from peopl...

Judge Vs Being Judge : How to tackle?

Hey all…. Namasthe and have a great Day!   Do you agree if I say that what we know about others is often limited and incomplete?  We often only see a small part of someone's life or behavior, and we may not be aware of their circumstances, challenges, or experiences that have shaped their actions and choices.   It is crucial to approach others with empathy, respect, and an open mind, rather than making negative judgments based on superficial or limited information. We should acknowledge that everyone has their own unique story, and their actions and behaviors may be influenced by factors that we may not fully understand or appreciate.   By avoiding negative judgments and trying to understand others' perspectives, we can foster better communication, build stronger relationships, and create a more compassionate and supportive community. So let us not judge others. 😌   Okay…You may have still a dilemma on what if others are judging you wrong...

Positive and Negative: What's our Focus should be?

Many times we lost our motivation. Some times we feel a lot of negativity or negative vibes after talking to someone. If you have that positive mindset..wowh..that's great.☺  It's great that you have a positive focus and mindset, and it's important to continue to cultivate that positivity. However, it's also important to be aware of negative people in our life and their potential impact on our mental and emotional well-being. Life is beautiful

Life is beautiful. It is connecting with Nature, connecting with ourselves and have a good inter personal relationships.  Introspection, the process of examining one's thoughts, feelings, and motives, can certainly be a valuable aspect of life. By taking the time to reflect on our experiences and internal state, we can gain greater self-awareness and insight into our own behaviors and patterns. This can lead to personal growth, improved decision-making, and stronger relationships with others. However, life is also about many other things, such as pursuing one's passions, cultivating meaningful connections with others, contributing to society, and finding joy and fulfillment in everyday experiences.
