Dear Voice of Chittan Readers
Namasthe ...
Hope you agree if I say thaat Some dreams don't arrive with fanfare. They quietly wait for years, tucked away in the corners of our hearts, until life gently tells us, "Now is your time."
One such dream came true for me recently.
Growing up, Eenadu was more than just a newspaper in our home..it was a companion. My father introduced me to the Eenadu newspaper Reading...I eagerly waited to read the stories in its Sunday magazine. Those pages introduced me to different worlds, unforgettable characters, and emotions that lingered long after I had finished reading. As a child, I would wonder about the people whose names appeared beneath those stories. Never did I imagine that one day, my own name would appear there.
Today, a story written by me "Aparajitha" has been published in Eenadu magazine.
This publication is not merely an achievement.. it is a conversation between my younger self and the person I have become.
No journey is ever walked alone. This moment belongs as much to the people who believed in me as it does to me.
I bow my head in gratitude to my beloved parents, Late Sri Thiruchanuru Vijaya Kumar and Mrs. Vasantha. My father instilled in me the courage to dream, while my mother nurtured in me the patience to pursue those dreams. Whatever I write carries traces of the values they quietly planted in me.
To my husband, Sri Mudrakartha Vishnu Chittan, thank you for standing beside me through every idea, every hesitation, and every little victory. Your encouragement, honest feedback, and unwavering faith have been my greatest strength.
To my son, Mudrakartha Sri Advaitha Simha, thank you for discovering the writer in me before I discovered her myself. There is something profoundly beautiful about children they often recognize our hidden gifts long before we do.
His confidence in my writing gave me the courage to take it seriously.
My heartfelt respects to my parents-in-law, Sri Mudrakartha Suresh and Mrs. Krishnaveni, whose blessings, affection, and encouragement have always surrounded me.
A special word of gratitude to my dear colleague, Dr. Yamuna Rani, who simply said, "Why don't you send it?" Those few words changed everything. Sometimes, a single sentence from someone who believes in you becomes the turning point in your journey.
To my teachers, mentors, friends, colleagues, readers, and every well-wisher who has encouraged me over the years...thank you. Every story I write carries a little of your kindness, inspiration, and faith.
Above all, I thank Eenadu for giving "Aparajitha" a home. It is an indescribable joy to see a childhood dream find its place in the very pages that once inspired it.
If there is one lesson this journey has taught me, it is this:
Dreams do not have an expiry date. They simply wait for us to gather enough courage to pursue them.

As I celebrate this milestone, I do not see it as the destination. It is the beginning of another journey one filled with more stories, more voices waiting to be heard, and more hearts waiting to connect.
Thank you for walking this journey with me.
With 💕,
Dr. Swetha Vishnu Chittan
