Dear Readers
Namasthe.
Life has a strange way of teaching us lessons. What feels right and perfect today might seem like a mistake tomorrow, and what we regret now might turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to us. It’s all about time and perspective. The sooner we accept that life is constantly shifting, the easier it becomes to live without the burden of regret or the anxiety of the unknown. But that’s easier said than done, isn’t it?
We spend so much of our lives chasing what we think will bring us happiness—success, recognition, love, wealth, the perfect life we’ve built in our minds. And sometimes, we even get it. But strangely, once we do, the feeling of satisfaction doesn’t last as long as we expected. We move the goalpost. We start looking for the next thing, convinced that this—this new thing—is what we really need. And in this relentless pursuit of “more,” we completely overlook what we already have.
It’s only when we pause, when we take a deep breath and really look around, that we realize how much we’ve taken for granted. The people who love us despite our flaws, the quiet moments of peace that we often ignore, the strength we’ve gained from past struggles—these are things we don’t always acknowledge, yet they shape us in ways we don’t even realize. But when we grumble, when we keep focusing on what’s missing, we blind ourselves to these everyday blessings.
It’s not that we shouldn’t have ambitions or work towards a better life. Growth is important. Struggles are real. There will be moments when life feels unfair, when the weight of everything feels unbearable. And in those moments, it’s natural to complain, to feel lost. But if we stay in that space too long, we risk losing sight of the bigger picture. What if this hardship is shaping us for something better? What if what we perceive as a failure is actually redirecting us toward something more meaningful?
Think about the times you thought your world was falling apart, only to realize later that it was falling into place. The heartbreak that led you to someone who truly understood you. The job rejection that pushed you to discover a path you never considered. The struggle that made you stronger, wiser, more resilient. Life is constantly unfolding in ways we can’t predict, and often, the things we resist the most turn out to be our biggest blessings.
Happiness isn’t about having a perfect life where nothing ever goes wrong. It’s about finding peace in the imperfections, about trusting that everything—even the setbacks, the disappointments, the things that don’t make sense right now—has a purpose. It’s about learning to live in the moment, to embrace what is rather than constantly longing for what isn’t.
When we stop fighting life and start flowing with it, everything changes. We see beauty where we once saw flaws. We feel gratitude where we once felt lack. And in that shift, we discover a happiness that isn’t dependent on circumstances—it comes from within. And that kind of happiness? No one can take it away.
Sometimes the things we want most are the things that would have destroyed us. Trust the delays, embrace the detours, and be grateful for what is—because one day, you’ll look back and realize it was all leading you exactly where you needed to be."
