Sarvam Vishnumayam Jagat.....The entire cosmos is pervaded by Vishnu. God is not confined to temples, names, forms, or rituals. He is the essence of everything, every being, every breath, every moment. He is the Atmic principle that resides quietly within and around us.
Recently, during our spiritual trek to Ahobilam, a place soaked in the divine energy of Lord Narasimha, we encountered a profound moment of insight. As we descended the sacred hills, a group of fellow pilgrims were discussing the story of Prahlada and Hiranyakashipu. Their view was that Prahlada was the cause of his father’s death. Listening to this, I felt moved to gently intervene not to correct, but to share a deeper perspective.
I said, “Prahlada was not the cause of Hiranyakashipu’s death. He was the reason for his moksha.”
Hiranyakashipu’s end was inevitable—not because of hatred or vengeance, but because he had to be liberated from the cycle of ego, delusion, and material obsession. The Lord descended as Narasimha not to punish, but to redeem. The difference lies in the consciousness of the individual.
To Prahlada, who constantly meditated on Narayana, God appeared as his saviour.
To Hiranyakashipu, who rejected the divine and identified only with power and ego, the same Lord appeared as the destroyer.
The Divine is the same. It is our inner lens that changes the way we experience Him.
God is both Narayana and Kaala Swaroopa, the protector and the liberator, depending on our alignment with truth. Just as fire can warm or burn, the Divine can nurture or dissolve, but in both cases, the purpose is transformation.
So, let us not limit the Lord by name or form. Whether we call Him Hari or Hara, He is the same cosmic intelligence expressing in infinite ways. The moment we realise this, every person becomes a temple, every action becomes worship, and every breath becomes a prayer.
The world needs more Prahladas, not because they oppose evil, but because they anchor themselves in divine consciousness, regardless of the chaos around them.
Let us chant, live, and walk with this awareness:
“Antarbahischa Tatsarvam Vyapya Narayana Sthitah”
With love
